Who has noticed the new “Re-clamp” option in iGrind? If you have one of the TX, MX or FX machines with the CRL loader, you can find this in the “Digitise eccentric runout”operation to re-orient a blank if the measured runout is larger than specified. When “Re-clamp” is enabled, a tool that has runout larger than the “Maximum runout allowed” will be removed from the collet and the headstock will be rotated by the “A rotation” amount and then re-inserted into the collet. If the runout still remains above maximum then the process will be repeated a number of times up to “Maximum attempts”. This minimises the rejection rates on tool runout when using Loadermate.
