A CNC grinding machine may begin its life producing one range of tools, but production requirements rarely stay the same. New tool geometries are introduced. Batch sizes change. Customers request tighter tolerances or shorter lead times. Automation becomes more important, and supporting systems such as coolant filtration, mist extraction and fire suppression may need to evolve alongside the machine.
