TapX covers taps sizes M3 to M50 and is capable of complete grinding any tap type in one setup - spiral, straight flute, forming taps in either HSS or carbide. TapX Linear gives total flexibility to tackle any job in the compact footprint of a single machine.
Includes compensating chuck and CNC tailstock for precision grinding between centres. Other features such as dual dressing systems, automatic adjusting coolant nozzles and robotic tool loading ensure confidence with lights out production.
Not only does ANCA’s dedicated iTap software allow easy programming of any tap type, supporting software makes for easy wheel design and in process dressing. CIM3D simulation software will also mean your tap design and grinding program can be proven offline, before you lay a hand on the machine – saving you setup time and ensuring you grind the right tool from the first.
