The EMO Hannover 2019, the world’s premier trade fair for the metalworking industry, will be held from 16 to 21 September under the motto of "Smart technologies driving tomorrow’s production". It will thus be concentrating on the current paradigm shift in industrial production operations, which are no longer focusing (only) on "better, faster, more accurate", but on the development and implementation of new functions within the framework of Industry 4.0. Digitalisation and intelligent networking in conjunction with numerous new developments, from Big Data, data analytics and artificial intelligence, all the way through to the platform economy, create the foundations for new business models, so that customers and vendors can reach a new level of productivity.

Live announcement of ANCA Tool of the Year 2019 winner​

ANCA's industry first competition is back this year with the 2019 winner to be announced live at EMO. All you have to do is submit a photo of your favourite tool for a chance to win a trip to our Australian headquarters to meet the team behind the technology, and a copy of the latest ToolRoom RN34 release.

Launch of the new ToolRoom RN34 

Get a live demo of our ToolRoom software which specialises in complex cutting tool geometries for the aerospace, die mould and power generation industry. See how it can help you design and manufacture complex tool geometries and getting them balanced perfectly for optimal cutting conditions. New at the show is our endmill cycles for ballnose and corner radius, tool balancing and next generation fluting cycles. 


CPX Linear

Capable of achieving a surface finish better than 0.2ra with run out of less than 2 microns, this four axes grinder for grinding tool blanks complements ANCA’s full machine range. The CPX Linear has a large working envelope and powerful grinding spindles to achieve the highest precision and productivity for blank preparation in the market today. Using the pinch peel method of grinding it offers the same strength, rigidity and thermal stability expected from an ANCA tool grinder.



FX5 Linear

The FX5 Linear offers automation and the versatility of more options, to meet the needs of increased productivity. The FX5 Linear has a wheel spindle power of 9.5kW and also has an automatic 2 station wheel changer for an increased range of wheels and tool types. With the optional automatic headstock clamping, it can provide unmanned operation and the flexibility to handle small volumes and mixed batches of tools.



MX7 Linear

The MX7 Linear is a powerful, versatile CNC tool grinder designed for production grinding. It is built to meet the demands of high output, high precision manufacturing. The powerful 38 kW (51 HP) permanent magnet spindle provides high torque at lower RPM which is ideal for carbide grinding and a wide range of other applications.


TXcell

At EMO, the TXcell will be configured with dual robots for turbine blade root form grinding. TXcell Linear enjoys all the function and features of the TX7 Linear, but has a standard robot loader, capable of changing wheel packs up to 300mm diameter and work pieces. Wheel packs can be substituted with endmills, polishing or deburring brushes or spindle speeders to further extend the range of applications and operations possible on the TXcell.

TapXmicro

The TapXmicro has been designed as a specialised solution for grinding micro taps. The 5-axis machine includes all the necessary features to support unmanned micro tap production. ANCA’s iTap software allows virtually any tap geometry to be programmed. This is complemented by CIM3D that validates tool geometry and machine moves before grinding. The result is a versatile solution that gives total confidence in producing micro taps for your most demanding customer.

CIM3D

ANCA was the first to introduce true 3D simulation technology for CNC tool and cutter grinding. The user can view the grinding process and the resulting model. On-screen tool model measurements are possible, as are collision detection and process improvement. CIM3D delivers advanced tool simulation quality and an enhanced user-friendly interface for high performance and increased efficiency. 


Redax

Virtual machine monitoring technology to achieve premium grinding efficiencies – in or out of the office.  ANCA launches an industry game changer software suite that will enable customers to monitor the overall efficiency and productivity of their machines from the office or anywhere in the world. Management Suite will enable customers to monitor the operational performance of their machines and provide live production and machine data to make informed operational improvements. ToolDraft

Create quick and easy 2D tool drawings straight from CIM3D or ToolRoom. An independent product to ToolRoom and CIM3D, ToolDraft now produces 2D drawings simply by clicking on the ToolDraft icon in CIM3D (V8.1 onwards) or ToolRoom 2016 onwards. It removes the requirement to export the 3D tool image to an external and non-tool dedicated CAD package. Minimal CAD drawing knowledge is required.
