Compression Router

A compression router (or upcut/downcut spirals) is great for machining materials such as laminate and MDF, when you want the top and bottom surface of the material to be cleanly cut. A compression router compresses the chips into the centre of the tool. The upcut part of the router forces chips upwards while the downcut section forces chips downwards towards the tip of the tool.

Customers can grind any combination of single and multi-flute compression routers on ANCA machines. The LaserPlus provides in-process measurement to maintain consistency for both diameters on the tool.
